The kfile_chemical plugins are kfile plugins that make KDE aware of chemistry data formats. It's a set of simple plugin classes that are rather monolithic. Each plugin class resides in their own subdirectory, and the directory name indicates the MIME type associated with that plugin (or mostly at least). The MIME is "chemical/" plus the directory name.
