Try to find the desktop-file-utils package.

This will define the following variables:

DesktopFileUtils_FOUND

True if system has the desktop-file-utils package

and the following imported targets:

DesktopFileUtils::UpdateDesktopDatabase

The update-desktop-database executable

The follow macro is available:

update_desktop_database(<path>)

Updates the XDG desktop database at install time (unless the $DESTDIR environment variable is set, in which case it is up to package managers to perform this task).

This should follow an install() command for a .desktop file containing implementing an XDG Intent.
